Application Security Analyst (Android & iOS)
At RDT, we continue strengthening our Automotive division by incorporating a Application Security Analyst to join one of our international projects with solid experience in mobile application security, especially within Android and iOS ecosystems.
📑 What will your day-to-day look like?
- Analyse, evaluate and strengthen the security of Android and iOS applications.
- Perform reverse engineering, code auditing and dynamic/static security assessments.
- Identify malicious behaviour patterns such as code injection, data exfiltration or remote control.
- Conduct malicious sample analysis and develop threat models aligned with industry standards.
- Collaborate with development and security teams to implement best practices and increase product resilience.
- Build and maintain internal tools, automations and detection systems using Python and Java.
- Apply machine learning/deep learning techniques—especially TensorFlow or PyTorch—to improve malware detection frameworks.

💡 Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related fields.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in mobile application security and penetration testing.
- Deep understanding of Android and iOS security architectures, vulnerability principles and mitigation strategies.
- Expertise in reverse engineering, code auditing and identification of malicious patterns.
- Strong analytical capability in malicious sample analysis and threat modelling
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with IDA Pro, Frida, Burp Suite.
- Strong programming skills in Python and Java.
- Knowledge of HarmonyOS security (plus).
- Application of ML/DL techniques to cybersecurity, using TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive, ethical, and continuously learning mindset.
