At RDT Ingenieros, we are reinforcing our electromobility engineering team and are looking for an Energy Management Specialist / HV Battery Expert to join our projects in the Barcelona Metropolitan Area.

The Energy Management or HV Battery Specialist leads development, validation, and analysis of vehicle energy systems, including LV/MV/HV functions, battery performance, thermal management, and system integration.

Your day-to-day responsibilities

• Develop, analyse and validate energy management functions (LV/MV/HV).
• Evaluate battery performance, safety, thermal behaviour and degradation.
• Support requirement management, system design and technical analysis.
• Analyse test data, identify deviations and propose corrective actions.
• Collaborate with platform teams, suppliers and SW/HW developers.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports and release recommendations.

What we’re looking for

• Strong knowledge of lithium-ion batteries, BMS, charging systems and energy flow.
• Experience with CAN, diagnostics, simulation tools or vehicle testing.
• Ability to interpret complex data and propose technical solutions.
• Strong analytical skills and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset.
