Job Purpose

The role focuses on standardizing operational routines, improving performance, and fostering a data-driven culture aligned with SQDCAE principles.
Key Responsibilities
Lean Deployment & Operational Excellence
Lead the phased deployment of Lean tools and routines, starting with production processes and progressively extending to maintenance and logistics.
Drive the implementation of 5S/6S as the foundational Lean system to ensure workplace organization, safety, and visual management.
Identify and eliminate waste using Lean principles.
Daily Management System (SQDCAE)
Implement and sustain SQDCAE daily management routines (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Availability, Engagement).
Design, deploy, and maintain visual management boards for shift-level and plant-level performance tracking.
Facilitate daily shift meetings, ensuring structured tracking of issues, actions, and escalations.
Establish and manage escalation routines.
Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization
Lead and support improvement initiatives including Kaizen, SMED, Standard Work, Line Balancing, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and TPM.
Support the definition and monitoring of KPIs, baseline performance, and operational standards.
Translate process data into actionable insights to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
Training & Change Management
Train and coach supervisors, team leaders, and operators in Lean principles and tools.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability at all organizational levels.
Ensure sustainability of improvements through audits, follow-ups, and ownership transfer to operations teams.
Digitalization & Reporting
Support the transition from manual tracking systems to digital dashboards and reporting tools.
Promote a step-by-step approach: manual → visual → digital, ensuring value-driven digitalization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Planning, Supply Chain) to standardize processes and improve execution discipline.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in industrial/manufacturing environments (metal/mechanical industry preferred).
Hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement roles.
Lean / Six Sigma certification (Green Belt preferred; Black Belt is a plus).
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of Lean tools: 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, SMED, VSM, TPM.
Familiarity with problem-solving methodologies: PDCA, A3, 5 Whys, Ishikawa.
Ability to analyze process data and convert insights into practical improvements.
Proficiency in digital tools (advanced Excel, ERP systems; Qlik is a plus).
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
Core Competencies
Strong shop floor orientation with a hands-on approach.
Structured thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.
Ability to influence and engage cross-functional teams.
Effective communication and training capabilities.
Strong execution discipline and follow-up.
Change management and adaptability.
Results driven with a continuous improvement mindset.
Other Requirements
Willingness to work extensively on the shop floor.
